“Yoga” is a Sanskrit word that has two meanings described a ” unity ” and “discipline”. Yoga exercises build unity and discipline of body making concentration that turn out and reveal invisible forces of mind. It is an ancient art that began in the Indo-Pak subcontinent about six thousand years ago. People used to meditate in order to make their daily lives good and healthy. but over time, the system began to decline in yoga exercises due to changes in life.

Taking fewer but deeper breaths each minute temporarily lowers blood pressure and calms the sympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for generating stress hormones. The postures and deep breathing offer a kind of physical meditation that focuses and clears the mind. Meditation and the mindfulness of yoga have both been shown to help people with cardiovascular disease.

Yoga is the medicine for nearly every problem. As you practice it, it does not only help you to improve your physical body but also helps in maintaining your inner peace and relaxing your mind. Thus, there is nothing that yoga will not help. Moreover, it is not just a one day practice; it’s a lifelong commitment. The more you practice it, the more you are benefited. If you practice it daily you will enjoy a peaceful and healthy lifetime. In the present Yoga has just become a type of physical practice but it is lot more than that.
